Saturday, January 23rd: Miss Coon Rapids
Brunch, Style Show & Silent Auction. Will
be held at the Seasons Restaurant with a breakfast brunch beginning
at 9:30 a.m. and contestant style show beginning at 10:30 a.m. Cost
is $18. There will also be a Silent Auction. Sponsored by the Miss
Coon Rapids Scholarship Pageant Committee. “Come meet the candidates
as they model fashions from the Coon Rapids Dress Barn.” To reserve

January 30th: 2010 Adult Medallion Hunt
The hunt will begin
on Saturday, January 30th and will continue throughout the
Snowflake Days celebration until found. Clues will be posted
daily. Rules are:
1) You must have a
2010 Snowflake Days button to claim the cash prize;
2) The medallion
will be hidden on City property;
3) Any destruction
of City property during your search will disqualify you from
claiming the prize. 2010 Snowflake Association members and
their immediate families are not eligible to participate in the
medallion hunt;
4) Clues will be
posted on the website listed below by 8:00 a.m. daily beginning
on Saturday, January 30th through Saturday, February 13th,
or until the medallion is found;

January 30th:
Stay Warm at the
Chili and Hot Dog Feed at Epiphany!
As part of the kick-off celebration of Snowflake Days and in
conjunction with the City of Coon Rapids 50th anniversary, the
Epiphany Knights of Columbus are sponsoring a chili feed from 4:00
to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 30 in the Epiphany Catholic Church
cafeteria. All net proceeds will go to local food shelves. For any
nonperishable food items brought in, the price will be reduced by
one dollar. The menu includes chili, corn bread, hotdogs (plain and
with chili) and salad. The church is located at 11001 Hanson Blvd,

Saturday, January 30th: Snowflake Days
Sno Ball. Join us for a hot time dancing
the night away at the 3rd annual SnoBall! This event is
sponsored by the Coon Rapids Rotary Club. The cost to attend is $15
per person or $25 per couple and will be held at The Seasons at
Bunker Hills. This wintertime extravaganza features live music.
Hors d'oeuvres, punch and coffee will be served and there will be a
cash bar. Dust off your dancing shoes and come have a ball!

Thursday, February 4th: SENIORS ONLY:
Snowflake Fest. Live entertainment,
games, prizes and more for seniors! Meet Senior Royalty Roger &
Jeanne Wolfgram. Fun begins at 11:00 a.m.
You might win a Cub gift card grand prize or other silly
prizes. Event sponsored by Klein Bank of Coon Rapids. If you would
like to stay for the noon lunch, please call

Monday, February 2, to make a
reservation. Entertainment, games, prizes and meal all for just
$3.50 (payable at the door).
Saturday, February 6th: Coon Rapids
Junior Royalty Pageant. Coon Rapids High
School Auditorium, 1:00 p.m. Cost is $8.00. Check out the
dozens of Silent Auction items available to bid on, winners to be
announced at the conclusion of the pageant. Meet 2010 Miss
America’s Outstanding Teen Jeanette Morelan! Sponsored by the Coon
Rapids Junior Royalty Pageant Committee.
Saturday, February 6th: Miss Coon
Rapids Scholarship Pageant. Coon Rapids
High School Auditorium, 6:00 p.m. Cost is $15.00 main floor
reserved or $9.00 balcony. Silent auction of special baskets
provided by each contestant. Sponsored by the Miss Coon Rapids
Scholarship Pageant Committee.
Sunday,
February 7th: ALL YOU CAN EAT Belgian Waffle Breakfast.
Warm up yourself and your family before
settling down for the big Super Bowl game with all you can eat
Belgian waffles with all your favorite toppings, juice and coffee,
being served from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Coon Rapids VFW.
Tickets are $6 per person, age 5 and under eat for free. All
proceeds support Snowflake Days event and activities.
Tuesday, February 9th: SENIORS ONLY:
Snowflake Bingo. Seniors are welcome to
join us at 10:30 a.m. for free Bingo
with prizes and a Culvers frozen treat. Sponsored by Culvers
Restaurant of Coon Rapids. Call (763)

Saturday, February 13th: Children's Carnival
at Epiphany School. 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Sponsored by the Coon
Rapids Snowflake Association and hosted by the Coon Rapids High
School National Honor Society students. Face painting, magic shows,
concessions, moonwalk, carnival games, prizes and lots of fun for
everyone!
Saturday, February 13th:
Kids Medallion Hunt.
Epiphany School Parking Lot. FREE. Event is
open to children ages 5-10 years of age. There will be one hunt for
girls only which will begin at 1:00 p.m. A second
hunt will be held for boys only beginning at 1:30 p.m.
Gift certificates from Erik’s bike shop will be awarded to winner of
each group. Bring the family out for a fabulous time at the
carnival and then wrap up your day looking for the medallions!
Co-sponsored by the Coon Rapids North Star Lions Club and the Coon
Rapids Lions Club.
